How we feel about giving
We ask everyone to pray about it. God’s word tells us that God blesses a cheerful giver, so one should not feel compelled to give. What one should consider and pray about is that our money is often a block to what God wants to do in our lives. God does not need money, yet Jesus speaks more about money than almost anything else. Why? Because our money reveals where we put our trust and where our devotion is found. Trusting God with our finances is often the last thing that we are willing to do. Yet, I have never met anyone who ever regretted giving. I have also never met anyone who found tithing to be a hardship. I have met many, many people who have said that they wish they had tithed earlier in their life because of the way God has blessed them for taking that step.

Please click commitment card  to complete with your support of our stewardship program. Your financial commitment to  First Church is appreciated and will benefit the programs and missions of our outreach ministries for the ensuing year.
